Floss Box

Sale price$34.00 USD

Size:
6 in stock

Like an Archeologist… watch the layers of your floss scraps stack up over the year. You’ll see that GREEN you used for ten thousand French Knots and the slivers of gold from the ornaments and the layer of RED from Valentine’s day.

The boxes come in two sizes with a glass front, a hole in the top, and a removable wooden back. They’re 2.25” deep and stand up on their own. Put it on your worktable or shelf, or add a bracket to hang it on the wall.

Made of pine, finished in antique cherry stain.

Love my floss box

I love having this box to fill up with floss over time instead of throwing excess floss away. It will be interesting to see the different colour flosses for projects I do. My only issue is the hole where you put the floss is rough and the floss will catch on it and not drop down easily, so I will have to see if I can file it down a bit or paint something on it so floss will slide right in the box. Any suggestions of what I could use?

Love the floss box!

I was finishing a project with lots of leftover pieces of thread when I saw the floss box. What a great idea! And, it is so lovely that it looks great on the side table next to my chair where I enjoy embroidering. Thank you!
